Waitiaki Dairy
On the banks of the Waitiaki, one of many waterways carrying life from mountain to sea in Aotearoa New Zealand, sits a small dairy farm.
Sadly, over the years, intensive farming practices have left the pastures muddy and lifeless. The river, once precious to the community and local ecosystem, is choked with toxic algae.
But now you have an opportunity to change things, when you buy the unprofitable land for a bargain. Can you act as kaitiaki for the farm, restoring fertility, diversity of life and productivity, and restore the mauri of Waitiaki?

I was destroyed several times by big business but prevailed in the end! This was cute :)
I can imagine getting sucked into this game for hours. The mechanics are simple enough for a casual player like me to enjoy and the display and events are clear and interesting. I especially liked the weather events.
Different types of cows would be what I would hope to see in the game, but if there is a reason for one specific breed of cow to be used that would be interesting to know too. (I'm not familiar with New Zealand dairy practices). I really enjoyed playing!
